Career Advancement Opens the Graduate Program Website
Whenever we survey “adult” students for words and phrases that are most likely to motivate those who are looking to move ahead professionally, “career advancement” and “advance my career” are at the top of the list. Many people who run college and university websites for graduate programs know this is why those students invest time and money for new credentials. Relatively few place content created to take advantage of that motivation in prime position on their entry pages.
Bentley University is a notable exception.
“I gained the skills to future-proof my career” are the words that greet visitors next to the photo of a 2013 MBA graduate. You can’t miss them.
A “Your Career Starts Here” heading leads visitors just a bit down the page to an easy-to-scan group of 9 programs:
- Business Analytics
- Financial Planning
- Human Factors
- Information Technology
- Marketing Analytics
- Professional MBA.
